International Society
The International Society is an independent, not-for-profit organisation unique to the City of Manchester. We aim to provide international students with a warm and friendly welcome when they arrive in the city and to make their time in the UK a wonderful experience.
We are committed to promoting international friendship and celebrating cultural diversity and through this hope to make a contribution to international relations. The International Society currently has over 6000 members representing over 100 different nationalities.

Your Students’ Union exists to enhance students’ lives. We do this by representing your views on student life to the University and by providing you with all the support you need to make the most of your time at Salford.
The Students’ Union is led by five students known as the sabbatical officers, who ensure that your interests are placed firmly at the heart of the services and activities we deliver. Whatever your age, nationality or background, there is something here for you.
